What do you use to make the bows?
Unless otherwise stated these bows are all 4-4.5″ inches and made from high quality grosgrain ribbon. Ends are heat sealed to prevent fraying and great care is taken into making each bow special for your needs. Some companies tout ‘professionally heat sealed’ ends. I didn’t go to any particular trade school to learn how to heat seal, but I can assure you I have put both time and energy into making sure the ends don’t fray.
Some bows may have a different knot (color or style) than shown in the picture, but all knots will coordinate with the bow. I’ve tried to ensure that the pictures properly show the colors of the ribbons used, but due to screen variances, the ribbon on your bow may look slightly different than the one pictured, but rest assured, they will still be a uniquely made, beautiful, creation!
How do you find inspiration for your bows?
That’s the fun part of making bows! I love to create new bows and do some research of the colors associated with a particular saint. Some saints have colors in common with others, so that’s when the real challenge occurs. I try to design each saint bow as uniquely as possible, while still retaining their primary traits. This can be seen as an example in both St. Maria Goretti and St. Philomena.
I currently have 22 bows to offer with more ideas in the hopper. Be sure to bookmark or pin us on Pinterest to keep up with the latest!
Can I place an order to you directly via e-mail?
Absolutely! Place your order by sending an e-mail to AbigailAArtistry@gmail.com In the subject line, simply write “order” and include what you’re interested in, how many and your ‘ship to’ address as well as the e-mail you wish to have the invoice sent to. I will then send you a PayPal invoice. It’s very simple to do.
Do I need a PayPal account to order?
No, you don’t. Although I use PayPal for invoicing and payments, you do not need a PayPal account to order. Once you’ve submitted your order via e-mail, you will receive an invoice directly from me. Follow the steps to complete your payment and that’s it!
How much is shipping?
Shipping for hair bows is $4 for 1-4 bows, $6 for 5-10 bows, and $8 for 11-14 bows. Bulk orders will be calculated as needed.
When will my order ship?
If it is in stock, it will ship three business days after payment is received – exceptions to this would be illness, vacation or any unforeseen situation that prevents me from shipping. If there will be a delay in your order, I will let you know ASAP when it comes in! Custom orders {sometimes including saint bows} may take longer since they are made when the order is placed.
What shipping method do you use?
We ship via USPS by First Class. It typically takes 3-9 business days. If you would like your order quicker, I can offer you Priority Mail for a flat rate of $9 (for up to 20 bows). It will take 2-3 days to reach you this way.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
If you live in Texas, standard tax rates of 8.25% apply.
Do you ship internationally?
Regrettably no, not at this time.
Do you take custom orders to match private school colors?
Yes! If you are interested in a large order for your school, team, group, or organization, please email me! I’m happy to work with you on your bulk order! AbigailAArtistry@gmail.com
Do you have a store front?
No, this is online only. Hey, when you have eight children at home, it’s all you can do to get on the phone once in a blue moon. 🙂
What types of clips do you use?

What if my daughter has thick, curly hair? What clips will work best?
The alligator clip is the best for keeping hair back and in place.
